The Beginning

Where everything started

So a while back (read as yesterday) I came up with the ✨ brilliant✨ idea to do a mini project. What does this mini project contain? Ah, just the most wonderful thoughts ever lol. I wanted to ✨simply✨ look at how many artists within AOMG create music together. That is, I just wanted to see how they were connected.

You see, I got to see Yugyeom in concert this year, I HAD A VIP TICKET AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS AMAZING! 100/10 will do again. Anyways…obviously, it makes sense that he got to perform alongside DJ Wegun, as they both belong in the same company, so I got a little curious and I was actually a little surprised that DJ Wegun is not featured in any of Yugyeom’s work and Yugyeom is not featured in DJ Wegun’s work! WILD! But anyways, here is my rough draft of the graph. My next post will be a better version of the graph (hopefully), along with some analysis on the graph and the relationship

The image above is a rough draft of the network of music artists within AOMG, according to AOMG/artists. Each arrow points to the artist that is featured on a song. For instance, Yugyeom points to Loco, that means that Loco is FEATURED on at least one of Yugyeom’s song. The darker the edge (the arrow) the more songs that are featured. The node size represents the amount of songs that artist has, in the next post I will go into more detail about the graph and its nuances.

In order for the graph to be ACTUALLY good, it needs a title, I definitely want to fix the legend. As I said earlier, as this is my first post and my rough draft of the current network.
