天啊
Hai hai, long time no see. Working on dissertation has been fun, life got a little busy, but that’s oki! I am constantly thinking about this project.
Anyways! I did some digging, because in my last post I talked about questions that I was thinking about, and one of them was about when the artists debuted in AOMG. Now the official site did not state when, and in fact, I am not sure that it is kept up to date…why? Because I found the kpop wiki for AOMG! Not sure how ‘up-to-date’ it is, but it included list of other artists that I did not know were apart of AOMG (past and present) and some links. So now this adds a layer, the time aspect.
Moving forward we could look at the graph and add a time aspect of when the artists came into the company and when they left the company. This means I have to update the data and include timestamps. We could also just look at what was produced while under AOMG and highlight the artists that are currently in AOMG.
The Update(s)
Updating the excel meant making sure I added the timestamps and the company. This is important, as I added timestamps or better yet, dates of when a song was released (or posted to Spotify). Some songs were added to albums at a later date but I kept it to when it was the earliest date. I also included the company/label the artist is signed to. Therefore if the song was released under a different company/label due to it being part of a soundtrack or something different, I left it as the company the artist is signed to from my understanding. In other words, I left it as AOMG if the artist was signed under AOMG when they released the song.
About AOMG
AOMG was founded in 2013 under Jay Park, who was the Co-CEO until 2021. It is a Hip Hop and R&B record label. The following are the list of artists and the time frame they are/were in the company:
- Jay Park (2013-2021)
- DJ Pumkin (2014-2024)
- He is not listed as the first artist of any song actually
- Simon Dominic (2014-2024)
- ELO (2014-Present)
- Ugly Duck (2015-Present)
- Hoody (2015-Present)
- punchnello (2019-Present)
- Yugyeom (2021-Present)
- DJ Wegun (2014-Present)
- Could not find the exact year, but he joined sometime between 2013 and 2015
- His earliest single he is featured on is from A Piece of Cake with Ugly Duck and Incredivle was in 2015
- His earliest single where he is the lead artist is Our Lives in 2016
- Jvcki Wai (2022-Present)
- GRAY (2013-2024)
- He has an album that was produced for Netflix’s Film Ballerina
- Loco (2013-2024)
- Woo Won-jae (2017-2024)
- sogumm (2019-2023)
- CODE KUNST (2018-2024)
- LeeHi (2020-2024)
- Cha Cha Malone (2013-Present(?))
- Producer
- Not sure if he is still a producer for AOMG which means technically he MAY not release his own music under AOMG because he also (along with Jay Park) founded H1GHR Music in 2017
- From what I saw/found his music he releases (like the ones he sings or listed as the first artist) are not under AOMG, like some are self released?
- Goosebumps (2020-2024)
- DeVita (2020-2024)
- Coogie (2022-2025)
- meenoi (2023-2025)
- SIKKOO (Group) (2025-Present)
- Chan Sung Jung (2018-Present(?))
- aka The Korean Zombie
- UFC Fighter
- Pretty sure he retired according to this article in August 26, 2023
- Kian84 (2023-Present)
- Cartoonist/Webtoon artist
- Also has a Netflix show ‘KiansBizarraBnB‘ that came out April 8, 2025
Fun fact! Hoody was the first female artist who signed with AOMG in 2015.
The following displays the total number of songs released while they were under AOMG compared to their total amount of songs where they are listed as the first artist.

Notice that Jay Park has the most songs released, and that makes sense, he has been active (in the music industry) but he was the founder of AOMG. SIKKOO is the newest addition to AOMG, in fact they recently signed under AOMG on April 7, 2025. Lastly, DJ Pumkin has no songs where he is listed at least according to Spotify. He is featured on tracks though.
Network Graph (updated!)
So before I just end this post, here is actually an updated image of the social network graph

I did a double check on if any artist has released any new music… update? none have, BUT!!! Yugyeom has a new album coming out June 17.
Also if I include DJ Pumkin, it looks a little silly. Also notice Cha Cha Malone is not listed, it is mainly because I filtered out the ones that released music while UNDER AOMG

Maybe I should expand my search to YouTube, I was mainly worried about ruining my algorithm. LOL JK, I just thought it would mainly have music videos and not full discography (I did a quick look and in AOMG’s YouTube Playlists, it does not include DJ Pumkin)
If I were to highlight the ones that are CURRENTLY signed under AOMG (as of May 28, 2025) we get the following image

We can see that Jay Park, GRAY, and Coogie, are featured on many of the artists music (they have a lot of arrows pointing to their node). SIKKOO is not on here, because 1) they just debuted and 2) they have but 4 songs as the group.
It would be interesting to see their individual (ego-centric) networks to see who they feature on their music especially while being active under AOMG. I am still thinking of how to add in the time aspect. I may create a RShiny app that displays the individual network and compare to the ‘big’ network.
As a reminder, this is only limited to AOMG and their Artists (previous and current) I could show the full network and who they have collaborated with, but that would just be a fun silly thing (because it is a lot lol)
Til Next Time,
